King Jesus Shows Up - John 20

"My Lord and my God". This was his reaction when Thomas finally saw the resurrected Jesus and believed. In one brief statement, Thomas acknowledged Jesus as the Son of God, God in the flesh, ruler over creation, and also made a statement of surrender as he acknowledged Jesus as Lord over his own life. Surrender - it's something we don't do well. Surrender is not a one-time thing, but a daily choice and action. In Luke 9:23 Jesus said "If anyone wants to come after me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me." What do you do as a daily practice to prepare you heart and mind to live out each day in a mindset and attitude of surrender?
