Cornerstone Christian Church is a community of people who have experienced and witnessed God’s faithfulness for over 40 years! The only story we want to tell is of how God has carried us, provided for us, and held us together in every season.

Cornerstone Christian Church was founded on January 27, 1980 and held our first worship with an attendance of 150 and a Sunday school attendance of 151. In November 1980 the church purchased the vacated Brown Township Elementary School building from the Brownsburg Community School Corporation, which sat on seven acres.
In December 1979, the name Cornerstone Christian Church was adopted. Cornerstone Christian Church is located at 8930 North State Highway 267, Brownsburg, Indiana 46112.
In August 1983 we broke ground for an 11,000 sq. ft. addition consisting of a 585-seat worship area, offices, and restrooms. The first worship service held in the new addition was in February 1984. This facility currently houses our worship and church activities.
In 2020, Cornerstone remodeled the old Brown Township school building and constructed a new lobby where the congregation could comfortably fellowship while drinking coffee or hot chocolate from our coffee bar. During that remodel project, we also upgraded our children’s area to better protect the next generation by securing them in their own dedicated wing of the building.
Larry Belville was the first Lead Pastor, called in January 1980. Steve Yeaton was called in the Spring of 2000 as our 2nd Lead Pastor, and Tim Hughes was called in July 2004 as our 3rd Lead Pastor. In April 2023, Scot Caley was welcomed as the 4th Lead Pastor of Cornerstone. Since Scot’s arrival, God has continued to bless Cornerstone in growth and ministry.
Cornerstone Christian Church is a unique, multi-generational church with a mission for making disciples as modeled by our Lord Jesus Christ. Our mission is to Notice, Name, and Know all who come in contact with Cornerstone.
Cornerstone offers two worship services, with the 9 am hour offering a blended-traditional style of worship and the 10:30 am hour leaning more towards a modern and contemporary worship style. We offer both children's and youth classes focusing on strong, biblical teaching at 9 am alongside a children's worship time during the 10:30 am hour.
